In this video, I discuss making tutorials related to your target audience. In most cases. when people are find your company website or YouTube channel they were not specifically looking for them. Instead they were looking for the solution to a problem that are currently facing and your YouTube channel or website has appeared as one of the search results.
This problem that they are facing is a very powerful motivator for the potential consumer and if you can solve it, you have the opportunity to start a relationship with that potential customer. This is why ‘How to’ videos or tutorials remain so popular on YouTube, as the content creator you demonstrate how to use a particular piece of software for the best results or how to complete a specific task. The viewer appreciates that you have made the video to help them.
Tutorials Bring People to your Business
Straightaway the consumer will have a favourable impression of the person and company that has created the tutorial. You will earn their trust and they will explore your company and social media links without you ‘selling’ yourself to them. This is the beauty of tutorials as pieces of content.
In the video, I explain how I discovered this first hand when I made a tutorial for a some Social Media Marketing software. The video tutorial received a lot more views than other videos that I made at the same time. The power of tutorial videos was clearly demonstrated, as a result more people visited my company website and social media links.
