Entrepreneurs – Would you like to ‘give back’ with Working Knowledge?

Entrepreneurs – Would you like to ‘give back’ with Working Knowledge?

This week as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week and at the request of an organisation called Working Knowledge I was fortunate enough to spend a day in the company of students at Hackney College. During the day students were tasked with developing a business idea completely from scratch, consulting with industry experts and then the day culminated in ‘Dragons Den’ style presentations to the industry experts and the award of prizes to the winners.

It was a great experience for both experts and students – personally I was very impressed by their enthusiasm and also by how much their concepts and grasp of business fundamentals improved during the day.

If you have read any of my posts prior to this one you will know that I am a man of action so while I am happy to tell you about my experience inspiring students I would be much happier if you were to take action and make contact with Working Knowledge because there is likely to be a similar event in your area that you can get involved in. Here’s your quick ‘get involved’ action plan:

1. Visit the Working Knowledge website

2, Find the closest participating educational institution to you.

3. Contact Working Knowledge via their website and express an interest in volunteering a day of your time as business expert – you’ll be glad that you did.

We hope you find this information inspirational and that you contact Working Knowledge and register as a business expert.

Best regards,
