This video will be of interest to business owners, B2B marketing managers, Content Marketing professionals, Social Media Managers and others who buy educational courses to improve their businesses or learn a new skillset.
Expensive Courses
In this video, I discuss, Ask Yourself This Question Before Buying an Expensive Course. If you operate in any business sector I am sure that you regular consider learning new strategies or approaches that could potentially improve your business. This is understandable and one of the reasons the online learning space was worth US$187.877 billion in 2019 and is forecast to reach US$319.167 billion in 2025* . Online education can be very effective as a way to improve your business.
Unfortunately, not all educational courses are created equally. Some have very little original content and are really regurgitated versions of other courses, books or ideas. To cap it all, in many instances these educational courses are overpriced and cost between $1000-$5000 each. This problem is so prevalent within the business education sector that a new term has been created to describe the creators of these overpriced courses and that term is ‘fake gurus’.
In this video, I discuss a foolproof way to assess whether the course you are considering is likely to be worth it. Will it deliver the value as promised? By asking yourself the right question about the creator of the course you will be able to ensure that you do not waste your money.
Take Action
Have you bought an expensive course only to find out it wasn’t worth the money that you paid for it? Did the course creator tell you that you must ‘invest in yourself’ meaning that you must send them several thousand dollars. Let me know in the comments section below. Also, let me know if you would like my help.
